It's all down hill from here

Here is Eliana running down her first grassy hill. Oh to be a kid again and find so much enjoyment in the simple things.

It's official

Well we always knew that Eliana is a 1/4 Australian but its been fully confirmed now. She is becoming a bit of a picky eater and getting quite selective about what she'll eat lately. But, even in this finicky season she loves Vegemite!! She tried it for the first time on her toast a couple days ago and couldn't get enough.
For those of you non Aussie's, Vegemite is a yeast extract that looks a little like a mix between chocolate and used motor oil and is often spread on toast. Most people in the world who don't live down under are not very fond of this delicacy, but our sweet girl is.

The last two weeks I (Eliana) got to live with my Mimi and Papa. My mom and dad needed a place to stay before they started the move to Slovenia. I loved my time with them. I got to do so many things. Like...

Watering the flowers,

Story time,

Swimming,

Chatting with Mimi,

Walking in the driveway (I love rocks),

Taking a break with Papa,

Riding the go-cart (I now know why some people call Mimi "speeder")

Eating good food (Mimi fed me PB&J and lots of cookies :)

I even got to play with great grandpa Mormance,

and see my cousins,

And more cousins,

I love my cousins,

imitate famous movie stars,

It was so good to spend so much time with family, I had so much fun

(I love my family so much)

And I love my Mimi and Papa SO MUCH!!!

Ellie wants a cracker

Eliana is working on some words and often times gets the first letter or sound of the word. Its still in the primitive caveman like grunts, but she's getting there.

Here she is telling me she wants a graham cracker... or maybe she is learning some Hebrew on the side.
